SERVICES
KEEPING YOUR PET HEALTHY IS IMPORTANT TO US.
We offer a wide range of services including medical, diagnostic, surgical, and preventive health care needs for your pet so they live a longer, healthier, happier life.

Surgery
We offer a variety of surgeries including routine spays and neuters, mass removals, and a number of soft tissue surgeries, including emergencies.

Sick Appointments
We routinely see sick pets, whether they have skin/ear issues, gastrointestinal issues, weight loss, lameness, or any other symptoms. We offer state of the art diagnostics tools to figure out what is wrong and how to best treat your pet so they can get back to doing what they love best!

Senior Care Package
As our pets get older, there is the potential for more and more medical issues to develop. If medical conditions are caught early, they may be able to be managed more effectively. With this philosophy in mind, we have developed a Senior Care Package for both canine and feline pets! The doctors at Tidewater Animal Clinic have discussed which tests are most appropriate for screening measures to look for the most common underlying diseases of senior pets.

Hospice/End of Life Care
The hardest part of owning a pet is knowing when it is time to consider quality of life. We are here to offer advice and guidance and provide hospice and end of life care when needed.
PREVENTATIVE SERVICES
A simple way you can help keep your pet healthy is by protecting him or her against parasites. Heartworms, fleas, ticks, and other internal and external parasites are much more than just pests; they can cause life-threatening conditions in your pet—and cause severe, potentially fatal, health problems for you and your family.
DENTISTRY
Imagine what your mouth would feel like if you never brushed your teeth or went to the dentist. For many dogs and cats, this is a painful reality. During each of our physical exams an oral assessment is performed, but that is only a part of the big picture. Our anesthetized dental procedures allow for a complete oral exam, full mouth dental radiographs, scaling, and polishing. Viability of teeth and need for extractions are determined at that time. K-LASER THERAPY
We offer the K-Laser to all of our patients who need a great alternative to traditional treatment. K-Laser utilizes a class IV laser technology which delivers a high power output compared to traditional low-level lasers. This increased power allows for deeper tissue penetration and more efficient delivery of photons to the treatment area. K-Laser therapy works by stimulating cellular metabolism and improving circulation, which promotes tissue repair and reduces inflammation and pain. It is commonly used to treat a variety of conditions such as musculoskeletal injuries, arthritis, wounds, and post-operative recovery. One of the key advantages of K-Laser therapy is its ability to provide most patients fast and effective pain relief without the need for drugs or surgery. Treatment is non-invasive, painless, and typically well-tolerated by all. Ultimately, the K-Laser represents a cutting-edge approach to pain management and tissue healing, offering veterinarians a powerful tool to improve the well-being of their patients.
